I am really into cute home decor as of late because I am redecorating my apartment! I have been hand making things and also looking for handmade items made by others! I love this created by Pass the Parcels over on ETSY! What an adorable way to hang your jewelry or your keys, etc!!!
I just wanted to further share with you all how I spent my day!! I made some embroidery hoop art and a grapevine wreath and some primitive grapevine star crafts!!!
Do you remember this post about the Embroidery hoop art?
Well, I decided to give it a try today and make my own twist on this awesome craft idea!!! I want to share what I came up with! BTW, this project is EXTREMELY EASY! It took me 5 minutes with each one (with my addition)!! All you need for my version is fabric and embroidery hoops, tacky glue, scissors, some sort of embellishment (I used primitive style small wooden signs) + a glue gun! I used the tacky glue for the fabric and the glue gun to put the signs onto the fabric! I used all the steps in Purl Bee’s tutorial so head on over after reading this post and try a few of your own! They look so awesome on my wall!
Here is my finished products (!!!!):
This is a really cute tutorial by Dear Lillie for Crepe Paper Peonies! You could use these on a lot of things!! From wall art to table settings from party decor to specially wrapped gifts! Head on over to her blog and check out this free & simple tutorial!
I love this post from dots & daisies! Such cute ideas for tea party themed events! I would choose the outdoor setting! Find vintage linens and tea pots, cups, saucers & bake up a plethora of sweet treats!! Focus on colors..brights or pastels! Have your guests dress up in their Sunday best with an over-the-top hat to top their party costumes off! Have a table reserved for stuffed animals and dolls!! And don’t forget the floral arrangements!
What says Summer and warm weather more than a juicy slice of watermelon? Snag this free printable (at the bottom of the post) by Minie Co. for an awesome decorative addition for all your warm weather get-togethers!!!
This pin by Diane Bockus is stunning! What a beautiful idea for Spring/Easter Decor that will last! This is one of the prettiest silk arrangements that I have seen….using faux tulips & moss in a vintage basket with decorative easter eggs! This will be so easy to recreate! Make it one of your floral centerpieces this Spring for your Easter gatherings!!! Diane has some consistently great pins over on Pinterest as well! Follow her boards!
